Platform Guidelines

Herein below are the platform guidelines of the Godcast App (App) owned and managed by Praise Wave Studios Pvt. Ltd.

Account

The App doesn’t allow impersonation of any person or entity unless it is made explicitly clear that there is an artistic purpose, like comedy or parody.

While brands and organizations are welcome to create content on the App, user accounts must represent a person. i.e., A person in charge of a business may create an account in the name of the business/organization to further their product/service but the account that is used should be in the name of a person.

You should only have one account. We don’t allow the creation of duplicate accounts by one individual, whether you’re representing yourself or another entity.

Etiquette to be followed

Don’t harass anyone. Don’t make lewd propositions or use extreme insults, or celebrate or mock someone experiencing a tragedy. Don’t share, threaten to share, or incentivize the sharing of other people's private information or forward/pass along fraudulent/malicious content/messages.

Divisive conduct

Don’t incite hatred or discriminate against based on things like race, religion, national origin, caste, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability. This covers, but is not limited to, slurs, insults, and conspiracies. Accounts whose purpose is to promote hateful conduct are absolutely prohibited, as are hate organizations/supremacist organizations.

Encouraging violence

Don’t threaten violence or harm against any individual or group of individuals, glorify acts of violence against others, or encourage others to commit acts of violence.

Disrupting/Spamming

Don’t behave in a way that intentionally disrupts a stream or an experience in uploaded content by making the members consuming such content uncomfortable in any way. Spamming members with media/messages shall also fall under this category.

Content that shall not be tolerated

  • Against Christian Faith: Any content which are explicit or implicit in our reasonable belief against the Christian faith/Teachings of the Holy Bible/Interpretations by Church shall find no space in the App ecosystem or its affiliates.
  • Child endangerment: We absolutely prohibit any sexualization of or solicitation of minors, and any content that may risk their welfare. This includes the sharing of explicit, vulgar, abusive, or otherwise inappropriate content with minors.
  • Graphic violence: Sharing media/content that includes excessive violence, harm to animals, or other forms of extreme violence that may shock or disgust people is strictly prohibited on the platform.
  • Harmful misinformation and fraudulent claims: Spreading misinformation on health, financial matters or for altering level playing field in elections or other civic processes shall be prohibited by the platform.

Activities restricted by law

Using the platform for promoting usage of restricted/illegal products or services shall result in appropriate actions by the platform.

Intellectual property violations

Any engagements in the app that violate any intellectual property or intangible rights shall be reviewed by the App upon such notification by any user and appropriate action shall be taken if the allegations are found true.

Sexual exploitation

Sharing of non-consensual sexual images or content that depicts or promotes sexual assault, or content that sexualizes the unique attributes of young children in any way, shall be removed from the App immediately upon notification/reporting by any user.

Suicide and Self-harm

Media content that depicts/encourages or promotes actions on self-harm or suicide shall be removed from the App immediately upon notification/reporting by any user.

Terrorism or violent extremism

Any content that praises or promotes acts of terrorism, violence, or ideologies of hate will be removed from the App upon notification. Such organizations are not welcome on the App.

Nudity

Nudity of any kind is unwelcome on the App and shall be removed as soon as the same is notified by any user.

Fake reporting/notification

Fake reporting of content or media is not allowed, and the platform shall suspend accounts that abuse the reporting mechanism within the App.

Spam or scams

The App will not allow irrelevant or unsolicited messages shared with other users such as sending unwanted or inappropriate app invites. The App also prohibits the use of scam tactics to solicit money or private financial information, investment, and financial schemes.

Miscellaneous

These guidelines may be updated/modified from time to time. The updated guidelines shall be made available to all users on this page. The old versions shall be archived and made available to users here.

These guidelines together with the privacy policy and Terms govern the usage of the App and its features by any user around the globe. Any user in violation of the above shall be subject to appropriate action, including but not limited to suspension of account or deletion of the account of the user in violation.

Reporting feature in App

In case media/content/message/comment has violated any of the above guidelines or has caused discomfort for you in any way, please report the user or their media content/message/comment using the reporting feature in the user interface of the App.

The support team of the App shall review the report. Be assured that we will without fail look into the issue and get back to you as soon as possible.
